Dashboard & Navigation
Get an at-a-glance view of your engagement pipeline, pending quotes, total value, and recent activity. Learn how to navigate Servantium quickly from the dashboard home.
The dashboard is your home screen in Servantium. It gives you a snapshot of your organization’s engagement pipeline, recent activity, and quick access to the things that need your attention.
Dashboard overview
The dashboard is divided into three main areas: stat cards at the top, a pending approvals widget, and a recent engagements table below.
Stat cards
Four summary cards appear across the top of the dashboard:
| Card | What it shows |
|---|---|
| Total Accounts | Total number of clients/accounts in your organization |
| Active Engagements | Count of all engagements currently in an “Active” status |
| Pending Quotes | Count of all quotes awaiting approval or client signature |
| Total Value | Sum of all quote totals across the organization (displayed as currency) |
Dashboard statistics automatically respect your organization’s role and tag-based access rules (ABAC). The counts and totals displayed will only reflect the records you have permission to view.
Pending Approvals
Below the stat cards, a central Pending Approvals widget surfaces all active approval requests across your organization.
- Filter: Use the filter chips to toggle between All Pending and Awaiting My Review.
- Action Required: Items explicitly requiring your immediate sign-off display an orange Action Required badge.
- Quick Access: Click View Record on any row to jump directly to the target quote or engagement requiring approval.
Recent Engagements
The main panel shows a table of your recent engagements with:
| Column | Description |
|---|---|
| Engagement | Engagement name (bold) |
| Client | Linked account name (resolved from the account reference) |
| Status | Color-coded status chip (Draft, Active, On Hold, etc.) |
| Last Modified | Relative timestamp (e.g., “3 days ago”, “Just now”) |
| Value | Sum of all quote totals for the engagement (currency formatted) |
Click any row to navigate directly to that engagement’s workspace.
Navigation structure
Servantium uses a sidebar navigation on desktop and a bottom tab bar on mobile.
Deep Linking & URLs
Every screen, tab, and record in Servantium has a unique, shareable URL. You can bookmark specific engagements, seamlessly use your browser’s back and forward buttons, and share direct links to specific pages with colleagues.
Desktop navigation
The left sidebar contains the Organization Switcher (at the top) and six main sections:
| Icon | Label | Description |
|---|---|---|
| Home | Dashboard | Overview and high-level stats |
| Briefcase | Engagements | All engagements list and workspace |
| Groups | Clients | Accounts and contacts |
| Person | Resources | Resource management and capacity |
| Folder | Files | Organization files and attachments |
| Assessment | Project Management | Organization-wide project plans and tasks |
| Gear | Settings | Organization configuration |
The sidebar can be collapsed (icon-only, 72px wide) or expanded (icons with labels, 228px wide) by clicking the menu button at the top. You can also click the Servantium logo at the top of the rail at any time to instantly return to the dashboard.
Settings navigation
When you click Settings (gear icon), the main sidebar transitions into a dedicated settings sub-navigation menu. Administrative configurations are grouped into categorized sections (General, Catalog, Templates, Config, Access, and Data) to make finding the right tool easier. To exit the settings area and return to your workspaces, click the Back to app button at the bottom of the sidebar.
Mobile navigation
On screens narrower than 600px, the sidebar is replaced by a bottom navigation bar with the same main sections. A floating action button (+) in the bottom-right corner provides quick access to create a new engagement.
Top bar
The top app bar contains:
- Breadcrumbs (left) — Shows your active organization and current page.
- Global Search Command Palette (center) — Press
Cmd+KorCtrl+K(or click the bar) to quickly find anything across your organization. - Global Create Menu (right) — A dynamic dropdown menu providing context-aware creation actions (like “New Engagement” or “New Quote”).
- Profile menu (right) — Access your personal settings, help resources, and sign out.
Quick actions
Using the Global Create Menu
The fastest path to create an engagement or contextually relevant record is the Global Create Menu located in the top bar (desktop) or the + floating action button (mobile).
-
Click the Create button in the top right.
-
“New Engagement” is always available at the top of the menu. Click it to start an engagement.
-
The menu automatically adapts to your exact location. For example, if you are viewing an active engagement, the menu dynamically adds options to create a “New Project Plan”, “New Resource Plan”, or “New Snippet” linked directly to that engagement. On the Files screen, you can click “Upload File” to directly upload and tag assets.
-
Follow the resulting dialogs or workflows. In many cases (like inviting a user or creating a rule), you can complete the action directly in the menu’s popup dialog without leaving your current workspace.
Responsive design
Servantium adapts its layout based on screen width. The engagement workspace, quote editor, and resource planning grid all have their own responsive breakpoints to provide the best experience on any device.
