Organization & Profile
Configure organization name, address, contact details, and auto-numbering for engagements and quotes. Manage your personal Servantium profile and notification preferences.
Quickstart
To configure your organization, navigate to Settings (gear icon) in the sidebar and select Info from the settings menu. To switch workspaces, use the Organization Switcher in the sidebar. To manage your personal settings, click your avatar in the top bar to open the Profile menu.
In-Depth
Organization info
The Info screen contains the foundational details and platform defaults for your organization. The workspace is organized into five logical cards:
General
Manage your organization’s profile, including the Name, Description, Address, and contact details (Phone, Email, Website). You can also set the default Resource Planning Interval (Day, Week, or Month) for new resource plans, toggle automatic quote item updates, select enabled Quoting Features (Markup, Discount, Units) to customize quote and catalog interfaces, and enable Role-Based Access Control (RBAC) globally. Disabling RBAC globally prompts a confirmation dialog to prevent accidental removal of security restrictions.
Planning and dashboard
Configure the tag and tile choices your organization’s planner and dashboard read.
- Push to bottom tags: Resources carrying these tags sort to the bottom of the planner.
- Dashboard stats: Select which metrics (like engagements or quotes) appear as tiles on the dashboard.
- Tags: Apply categorical tags to the organization itself.
Auto Numbering
Configure automatic sequential numbering for collections whose records should be named by a server-issued number instead of by hand. Select a collection from the autocomplete dropdown (e.g., engagements) and define the starting number. The server automatically replaces the record’s name with this counter, zero-padded to four digits (e.g., 0047), and bumps it by one. The Name field on creation forms automatically becomes read-only and shows a preview hint of the next sequence.
Tag Rules
Manage which tag categories each collection may use, and—with RBAC enabled—which ones gate access.
- Tag Category Restrictions: Specify which tag categories are available for each collection.
- Tag-based access rule: Define ABAC rules to gate access based on tags.
Click the Edit (pencil) icon on any existing rule to modify its assigned tag categories. Use the Select all or Deselect all buttons to quickly manage large lists of categories. Note that the target collection is locked and cannot be changed once a rule is created.
Custom Properties
Define and manage dynamic custom properties specific to the organization record.
The Resource Planning Interval setting is a powerful default. While individual plans can override it, setting this to your most common planning cadence (e.g., “Week”) saves significant time during project setup.
Profile settings
Your personal profile is the gateway to your work across different organizations.
Click your avatar in the top navigation bar to access the profile menu, where you can:
- Edit Profile: Change your display name, which is how you appear to colleagues in engagements and audit logs.
- Help & Support: Launch the help documentation or interactive tutorials.
- Sign Out: Log out of your current session.
Switching organizations
If you manage multiple service lines or work across different business units, you can switch contexts instantly using the Organization Switcher.
- Locate the organization name and icon near the top of the left sidebar.
- Click the organization row to open the Organization Switcher popover.
- Select a different workspace from the dropdown list.
- The application will reload, updating all screens, templates, and data to reflect the new selection.
